Preserving Permanent Resident Status When Traveling Frequently Abroad – Many of our clients have experienced the arduous task of becoming legal permanent residents of the United States through immigrant visa processing through the U.S. Embassies in their home countries, or obtaining adjustment of status in the United States. These clients then they realize that it is also just as difficult and burdensome to maintain their lawful permanent resident status. It has been a long-standing concern for our office to ensure that our clients take the necessary steps to preserve their legal permanent residency status when they frequently travel abroad.
