Immigrant Visa Processing in Vietnam – Happy New Year. Just a few thoughts from the office.
For fiscal year 2014-2015, there were 27,391 immigrant visas issued for citizens of Vietnam. A vast majority of the visas that were issued were family-based immigration. This number does not reflect the more than 1,743 K-1 fiancé visas that were also issued for Vietnamese. With this large number of visas issued, the U.S. Consulate in Saigon is one of busiest post in the world for immigrant visa processing. Immigrant visa processing in Vietnam will only be increased.
