U.S. Consulate in Saigon – Open House for Attorneys – It was a privilege again this year to attend the U.S. Consulate Open House for Attorneys in Saigon on March 5, 2014. Last year’s open house and conference in Saigon was a first glance of how far the U.S. Consulate in Saigon has progressed since its re-opening in 1997 and the take-over of the immigrant visa processing from the U.S. Orderly Departure Program in 2000. I have provided information and statistics from last year’s open house in a previous article. Please see.

This is an update on the information for the U.S. Consulate in Saigon. The statistics on the adjudication of visas remains the same, except that the nonimmigrant visa section adjudicated more than 70,000 nonimmigrant visa application versus 60,000 from the previous year. There has been changes for the American Citizenship Service (ACS) section. Unless it is an emergency, there must be an appointment to enter the U.S. Consulate. Here is the link for the appointment. Please see.
